FDH Aero has announced that its FDH Electronics division has acquired Peerless Electronics Inc., a franchised distributor of electromechanical components for the aerospace, defense and industrial markets.
The acquisition expands FDH Electronics’ electromechanical product portfolio and strengthens its supplier relationships, while complementing the company’s existing capabilities in interconnect, wire and cable components.
FDH Electronics President Bob Earley said the combination will enable the company to offer customers a broader range of critical components through a single supply chain partner, while expanding its capabilities in the military and aerospace electronics market.
Founded in 1945, Peerless Electronics supplies switches, circuit breakers, sensors and relays to more than 3,000 aerospace, defense and industrial customers. The company maintains an inventory of approximately 35,000 SKUs and represents more than 50 manufacturers.
