FAA Grants FIKI Certification to M700 FURY
The M700 FURY, with a maximum cruise speed of 301 knots true airspeed (ktas) and a range of 1,852 nautical miles (nm), is equipped with some of the most advanced safety features available in the industry.

Piper Aircraft, Inc. has received FAA FIKI certification for the M700 FURY, with international deliveries set to begin in Q3 2024.

Piper Aircraft, Inc. has announced that it has received Flight into Known Icing (FIKI) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its new flagship aircraft, the M700 FURY. The FIKI system is standard on all M700 FURY aircraft and features an electromechanical expulsion deicing system located on the tail and the leading edge of the wing. International certifications for the M700 and its FIKI system are progressing as scheduled, with deliveries to these regions expected to commence in the third quarter of 2024.

The Piper M700 FURY comes standard with the HALO Safety System, featuring Garmin Emergency Autoland. This advanced system utilizes digital technology to safely land the aircraft at the nearest suitable airport in the event of pilot incapacitation. The M700 FURY is also equipped with the G3000 avionics suite, which includes Autothrottle, Emergency Descent Mode, Electronic Stability Protection (ESP), SurfaceWatch, SafeTaxi, and Garmin PlaneSync, all designed to enhance the safe operation of the aircraft. The six-seat M700 FURY is powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-52 700 SHP engine. 

The Piper M700 FURY boasts a maximum cruise speed of 301 knots (557 km/h), a maximum range of 1,852 nautical miles (3,430 km), and a standard useful load of 2,320 pounds (1,052 kg).
