ExecuJet MRO Services inaugurates new MRO Facility At Malaysia’s Subang Airport
ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia holds certifications from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, the EASA, the US FAA, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and other national civil aviation regulators worldwide.

The 149,500-sq-ft ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia facility includes workshops, storage areas and training facilities, offering line maintenance, AOG support, heavy maintenance checks, cabin interior refurbishments, and avionics upgrades.

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Subang Airport in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This purpose-built facility underscores Malaysia’s emergence as a regional hub for MRO services and highlights Asia’s growing significance in the business aviation sector.

The newly constructed 149,500-square-foot MRO center, the largest of its kind at Subang Airport, comprises workshops, storage areas, customer and staff offices, training facilities, and rest areas. Offering a comprehensive range of MRO services, including line maintenance, AOG support, heavy maintenance checks, cabin interior refurbishments, satcom installations, and avionics upgrades, the facility caters to aircraft from Dassault Aviation, Bombardier, and Gulfstream.

“The benefit of having a purpose-built MRO facility is it can include new features to support MRO activity (for example, a built-in overhead-crane for aircraft engine changes) and it can be future-proofed,” said Ivan Lim, Regional VP Asia, ExecuJet MRO Services. “We also designed the hangar and workshops to optimize the workflow through the facility. The 105,000-ft 2 hangar can accommodate up to 15 medium and large business jets simultaneously, including the ultra-large-cabin Dassault Falcon 6X and Falcon 10X. Our previous facility at Subang Airport was smaller and the hangar was originally designed for aircraft undercover parking,” he further added.

In addition to its operational capabilities, the new hangar incorporates energy-saving design features such as large windows for natural lighting, LED lighting systems, high-volume low-speed overhead fans for cooling, an 85kW rooftop solar system, and rainwater harvesting tanks.

Ivan Lim, Regional VP Asia, ExecuJet MRO Services said, “The business aviation industry in Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, has witnessed strong growth, driving demand for MRO services. The larger, purpose-built facility at Subang Airport allows us to cater to the growth in the business aviation market and enables us to expand our MRO capabilities.”

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia holds certifications from various aviation authorities, including the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and other national civil aviation regulators worldwide.

In a significant development, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the US FAA have certified ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to provide line maintenance and AOG support for Falcon 6X aircraft across the region, further enhancing the company’s capabilities and reputation in the business aviation sector.
