ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has opened a new 149,500 sq.ft MRO facility at Subang Airport solidifying its position as Malaysia’s largest business aviation MRO center.

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Subang Airport. This purpose-built facility spans an impressive 149,500 square feet, solidifying its position as Malaysia’s largest business aviation MRO center. The inauguration event, graced by esteemed guests including YB Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport for Malaysia, underscored the strategic importance of this expansion for both ExecuJet and the Malaysian aviation sector.

ExecuJet MRO Services Group traces its roots back to 1991 when it was founded in South Africa. Since then, the company has expanded globally and now operates in Australia, New Zealand, the UAE, Belgium, and China, in addition to Malaysia and South Africa. This expansive reach positions ExecuJet as a key player in the international aviation maintenance and support landscape.

“Today’s opening marks a pivotal moment for ExecuJet MRO Services’ presence in the region,” said Graeme Duckworth, President, ExecuJet MRO Services Group. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Malaysian Government, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad and Dassault Aviation for their unwavering support for this expansion project. Without their assistance, we wouldn’t be here. We are expanding support  for operators of multiple aircraft brands across the region. The Subang facility is key to that strategy,” he further added.

The Subang facility is not just about physical expansion; it also represents a commitment to training and certification. ExecuJet invests heavily in training its personnel to international standards, ensuring that they are approved to perform line and heavy maintenance on a wide range of aircraft registered with regional civil aviation authorities, as well as with the FAA and EASA. This includes aircraft from renowned manufacturers like Falcons, Bombardier, and Gulfstream. The presence of new training spaces at Subang will further these authorizations and contribute to growing the workforce.

Jean Kayanakis, Senior VP Worldwide Falcon Customer Service & Service Centre Network, Dassault Aviation said, “ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia is playing a major role in Falcon support in the Asian region and helps Dassault Aviation offer a uniformly high level of Falcon service worldwide.”
