Eviation Aircraft and Solyu have signed an LOI for 25 of its all-electric commuter Alice aircraft, with options for an additional 25 marking total orders amounting to US$ 5 billion for Eviation.

Eviation Aircraft, a pioneer in all-electric aircraft manufacturing, has scored a significant win in the sustainable aviation sector as South Korean leasing firm Solyu signs a Letter of Intent (LOI) for 25 of its all-electric commuter Alice aircraft, with options for an additional 25. This partnership represents a step towards a more sustainable future in aviation, with Solyu offering financing and leasing solutions for the Alice aircraft to operators worldwide. This order marks a significant milestone for Eviation’s Alice aircraft, which has now secured orders amounting to US$ 5 billion.

The Eviation Alice, capable of carrying nine passengers, holds the distinction of being the world’s first flight-proven all-electric commuter aircraft. Designed from the ground up, it incorporates magniX’s cutting-edge electric propulsion system. The Alice aircraft is notable for producing zero carbon emissions and boasts lower operating costs per flight hour compared to conventional light jets or high-end turboprops. This cost-efficiency opens the door to activating new routes and enhancing the overall convenience of air travel.
