Etihad Airways innovates with New System and Chat Feature for Travel Document Verification.

Etihad Airways has launched a new system, offering travelers an in-depth overview of visa, passport, and health requirements pre-booking. This initiative ensures that passengers receive thorough information and preparation for their journeys. Additionally, it utilizes the latest data sources to ensure passengers have the correct documents. Furthermore, Etihad introduced a new online chat for real-time updates on essential travel documents. Moreover, this enhancement facilitates seamless access to necessary travel details, ensuring convenience for travelers.

John Wright, Etihad Airways, Chief Operations and Guest Officer, said: “We know how important it is for our guests to feel assured that they have the right documents for their journey ahead of travel. This online feature is fed automatically by the very latest information supplied by IATA’s Timatic solution, which is the world leader in providing real-time information on travel document requirements for international air travel, relied on by the travel industry and government authorities worldwide.”

The system is accessible via Etihad Airways online chat feature on etihad.com, located in the ‘Get In Touch’ section of the Help page. Additionally, users can select the Travel Guideline and Transit Information option within the chat menu. In addition, the feature guides users through questions, offering a detailed list of necessary visa, ticket, and travel documents. Furthermore, it ensures travelers are well-prepared by outlining any additional requirements they may need to fulfill.
