8 July 2020: As the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown starts to lift across the world, airlines are slowing resuming services, and Ethiopian is the latest airline to join the fray. As Dubai opens up for International air travel, Ethiopian has announced the resumption of its services to Dubai for business & leisure.

Djibouti has also announced that it will end lock-down on 17th of July. As a result, Ethiopian will resume normal service to Djibouti on the 17th of July.

With this, the count of total destinations covered by Ethiopian will be 40. With different countries announcing opening their international borders, Ethiopian will simultaneous resume their services to those destinations.

However passengers are to follow very stringent healthcare guidelines while travelling, like mandatory wearing of face mask, providing health certificates and health declaration form prior to travelling and maintaining social distancing on-board and in Airport premises. On a happier note, Ethiopian welcomes the passengers on-board to once again help the aviation industry soar.
