New Premium Economy Features

In early July, Emirates embarked on a major refurbishment of its Boeing 777, reconfiguring the aircraft to introduce a new Premium Economy cabin. The refreshed Boeing 777 now includes a Premium Economy cabin with 24 cream leather seats arranged in a 2-4-2 layout. With a 38-inch pitch, 19.5-inch width, and 8-inch recline, these seats are designed for maximum comfort, complemented by 6-way adjustable headrests and elegant wood panel accents.

Upgraded Business Class

Each 20.7-inch-wide ergonomic seat converts into a flatbed that reclines up to 78.6 inches, complete with a padded headrest for added comfort. The cabin’s four-abreast layout ensures direct aisle access for every passenger. Seats are equipped with personal mini-bars, dining tables, multiple charging outlets, and a touchscreen controller for the in-flight entertainment system. Each seat also boasts a large 23-inch HD screen, providing an immersive experience with Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system.

Sir Tim Clark, President, Emirates, Airline said, “Our latest Business Class cabin offers customers a sense of exclusivity and privacy, complemented by our best-in-class suite of onboard products. The addition of our popular Premium Economy cabin, rated one of the best in the industry, injects modern sophistication to the flying experience and is carefully designed for more comfort.  With more Boeing 777s and A380s refreshed to sport our latest generation onboard products, customers can consistently have the very best experiences in the sky across both aircraft types.”

The Economy Class cabin includes 256 seats in soft greys and blues, with full leather headrests and adjustable side panels for optimal support. The ghaf tree motif, a signature of the Emirates, is prominently featured throughout.
