Embraer receives order for 25 E195-E2 aircraft from Porter Airlines
Porter Airlines, as the North American launch customer for the Embraer E195-E2, has already received 24 of these aircraft and is utilizing them to expand its services to new destinations.

Embraer has signed a contract with Porter Airlines by for an additional 25 E195-E2 passenger jets with 146 seats in all-economy configuration valued at $2.1 billion at list prices.

Embraer has solidified its partnership with Porter Airlines by signing a contract for an additional 25 of these passenger jets. This order supplements the existing 50 firm orders, bringing Porter’s total orders with Embraer to 75, with 25 purchase rights still available. The deal, valued at $2.1 billion at list prices, contributes to the fourth-quarter backlog. The E195-E2, configured by Porter , provides passengers with a comfortable flying experience. The airline has chosen to adopt an all-economy configuration with various seat pitches, including 36, 34, and 30 inches. This decision aligns with Porter’s commitment to delivering an exceptional passenger experience.

Porter Airlines, as the North American launch customer for the Embraer E195-E2, has already received 24 of these aircraft and is utilizing them to expand its services to new destinations. Recent announcements include plans for flights to Las Vegas, Miami, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, with additional destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean in the pipeline. The E195-E2s are currently in operation from Eastern Canada, with a focus on airports such as Toronto Pearson International, Ottawa, Halifax, and Montreal.
