Embraer has commenced its first class of the GIFT program designed to educate new aviation mechanics and is being conducted in Sorocaba, Brazil, in collaboration with Athon College and EWM.

Embraer, the global aerospace company based in Brazil, has initiated its first class of the Guiding and Inspiring Future Technicians (GIFT) program. The training course is designed to educate new aviation mechanics and is being conducted in Sorocaba, Brazil, in collaboration with Athon College and EWM. Embraer’s global presence includes industrial units, offices, service centers, and parts distribution centers across the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe. The company’s commitment to education and skills development, as demonstrated by programs like GIFT, contributes to the growth and sustainability of the aerospace industry in Brazil and beyond.

The GIFT program reflects Embraer’s commitment to providing comprehensive training opportunities for professionals in the aeronautical sector. This initiative joins other successful training programs by Embraer, including the Engineering Specialization Program and the Software Specialization Program, which have contributed to the development of skilled professionals in the aerospace industry.

The inaugural class of the GIFT program consists of 22 selected students who will undergo a comprehensive three-year training program. The course structure, aligned with guidelines established by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), will be provided by EWM, a partner in the initiative.
