Embraer, LATAM sign component pool agreement for 24 E195-E2

Embraer and LATAM Airlines Group have signed a Component Pool Program agreement to support the introduction of 24 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft ordered by the airline group, with a further 50 aircraft available through purchase options.

The agreement will provide component support for LATAM’s incoming E195-E2 fleet through Embraer’s Pool Program, designed to help maintain aircraft availability and support operational reliability as the airline expands its operations.

The programme covers more than 300 aircraft components across multiple E2 systems. Support will include component exchange services, repair and overhaul solutions, and a selected inventory of components held at LATAM facilities in Brazil.

Component support to improve fleet availability

Through the agreement, LATAM will have access to Embraer’s component support network as it prepares to introduce the E195-E2 into its fleet. The programme is intended to help streamline component availability and reduce the operational burden associated with maintaining inventories and arranging component repairs.

Embraer’s Pool Program provides airlines with access to a shared component support structure, helping reduce component repair and inventory-holding costs while limiting warehousing requirements. The programme operates within a framework of guaranteed performance levels.

Supporting LATAM’s fleet expansion

Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, said the agreement represents an important step as LATAM prepares to introduce the E195-E2. He added that the objective is to provide a cost-efficient support solution from the start of operations, with a focus on aircraft availability and operational reliability.

Embraer Services & Support will work to deliver the services required to support LATAM’s fleet introduction and longer-term growth plans.
