With this partnership Elbit Systems of America becomes the exclusive US distributor of their market-leading and fully-compliant LGDS system

26 August 2020: Elbit Systems of America and Sintela have partnered to use the data supplied by Sintela’s fiber optics-based Linear Ground Detection Systems (LGDS) into Elbit Systems’ TORCH Command & Control system. The TORCH system is used by the US Border Patrol to efficiently perform their duties. The LGDS also known as Onyx, provides surface and subterranean surveillance and threat detection along America’s southern border. Thus with the LGDS in place, there is an added layer of security to the wall.

With this partnership Elbit Systems of America becomes the exclusive US distributor of their market-leading and fully-compliant LGDS system. Elbit Systems of America is prepared to deliver and install the innovative LGDS system that automatically detects and identifies threats, using machine learning.
