Aircraft teardown and asset management specialist ecube has appointed Pete Allwood as interim Chief Executive Officer following the departures of CEO Lee McConnellogue and COO Simon Nolan.
The leadership changes take effect immediately and come as ecube continues its integration with aviation aftermarket businesses Satair, Unical Aviation and VAS.
Allwood currently serves as Senior Vice President EMEA at Unical Aviation and will oversee ecube during the integration process. He has nearly two decades of experience in the aviation aftermarket, with a background spanning aircraft disassembly, used serviceable material (USM) programmes, component harvesting and supply chain management.
The transition marks a significant management change for ecube, which has become a major player in aircraft storage, teardown and asset recovery services. The company said the leadership restructuring is intended to align operations across the wider group as it expands its capabilities in aircraft disassembly, repair management and global parts distribution.
Neither ecube nor its parent organisations disclosed the reasons for the departures of McConnellogue and Nolan.
Commenting on his appointment, Allwood said: “Our goal is to deliver a simplified, powerful flow of material for our customers. I look forward to working with the talented teams across all our entities to ensure that we are moving in the same direction, leveraging our combined strengths to provide unmatched value in the aircraft lifecycle market.”
The company thanked McConnellogue and Nolan for their contributions to the business but did not announce permanent successors or provide a timeline for the leadership transition.
