SIAEC and Eaton Form Joint Venture in Malaysia to Enhance MRO Services for Eaton Components Across Asia Pacific Region.

SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) and Eaton have signed a definitive agreement to establish a joint venture dedicated to the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of Eaton-manufactured aircraft components used in airframe and engine fuel and hydraulic systems. Based in Malaysia, the joint venture will combine the expertise and experience of both companies to provide comprehensive MRO services across the Asia Pacific region. This collaboration aims to enhance service capabilities and operational efficiencies for customers in the aerospace sector.  

With the establishment of the new joint venture, SIAEC’s portfolio now includes 24 subsidiaries and joint ventures with prominent original equipment manufacturers and strategic partners across eight countries.  

The incorporation of the Joint Venture is not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets per share or the earnings per share of the SIAEC Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2025. None of the Directors and controlling shareholders of SIAEC has any interest, direct or indirect, in the incorporation of the JV.
