Show wraps programme highlights with the great flying in the air and impressive equipment on the ground.

15 November 2021: Dubai Airshow 2021 event was officially inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai who led the Royal Tour in morning on 1st day.

Industry specialists and leaders from across the aviation, aerospace, space and defence sectors arrived at the Airshow from every part of the globe. Almost 150 countries have represented this year’s Airshow which includes 20 country pavilions and new additions from the Czech Republic, Belgium, Brazil, Israel, and Slovakia

With Airbus lighting up the sky on Saturday night – they went one better by lighting up the Dubai Airshow on Sunday’s opening day with a massive 255 Airbus A321neo and A321XLR deal with the low cost carrier consortium Indigo Partners.

But also on some amazing aviation services business – primarily MRO – which saw Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) signing deals with major OEMS like CFM, Thales, Leonardo and Honeywell. The UAE’s air force has signed a $3bn contract with GAL – part of Edge Group- for a fly by the hour MRO service.

While Jordanian MRO firm Joramco reveals it is looking to expand internationally.
