Industry veteran brings more than 25 years of aviation experience across aircraft maintenance, engineering, fleet planning, and commercial operations
DTX Aerospace has appointed Orlando Speranza as Vice President of Business Development – Airframe, strengthening its leadership team as the company looks to expand its presence across the airframe aviation and MRO market.
Speranza brings more than 25 years of aviation industry experience, covering aircraft maintenance and engineering, fleet planning, finance, risk management, and regulatory oversight. His career has spanned markets across the Middle East and South America, giving him extensive experience across both technical and commercial aspects of the aviation industry.
Speranza’s professional background combines hands-on understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering with experience in commercial and business functions.
His experience across fleet planning, financial management, risk and regulatory environments gives him a broad perspective on the factors airlines and aviation companies consider when making decisions around aircraft operations and maintenance.
This combination of technical and commercial expertise is particularly relevant to his new role, where he will be responsible for supporting DTX Aerospace’s airframe business development activities.
Most recently, Speranza served as Latin America Representative for Etihad Engineering, where he spent more than five years supporting the region.
The role provided exposure to the Latin American aviation market and further strengthened his understanding of airline requirements, engineering support and the commercial dynamics of the international MRO sector.

Speranza’s appointment comes at a time when airlines and aircraft operators continue to focus on efficient fleet utilisation, maintenance planning and reliable engineering support as global fleets expand.
With experience across two important aviation regions and a career spanning multiple areas of the industry, Speranza adds an international dimension to DTX Aerospace’s business development team.
