The newly delivered Diamond Aircraft DA42-VI jets will serve as United Aviate Academy’s multi-engine trainer for pilots seeking to advance their careers.

Diamond Aircraft has announced a new strategic partnership with the United Aviate Academy in Goodyear, Arizona, with an ordered five new jet-fuel powered DA42-VI twins. The firm order will see the first delivery take place at Sun ‘n Fun Expo 2023 in Lakeland, Florida, with the balance of the new fleet being delivered by the end of Q2 2023. The DA42-VI will serve as United Aviate Academy’s multi-engine trainer for pilots seeking to advance their careers.

The DA42-VI is the most recent version of Diamond’s piston twin, which has proven to be a successful aircraft, outselling all other certified piston twins combined with over 1,100 deliveries. The DA42-VI is equipped with efficient, clean, and reliable 168 hp jet fuel AUSTRO engines AE300, a Garmin G1000 NXi with 3-axis Automatic Flight Control System, and optional electrically powered air conditioning. The aircraft generates fuel savings of up to 50% compared to conventional AVGAS powered twins and its panoramic canopy provides excellent visibility during all flight maneuvers.
