Deutsche Aircraft has announced a strategic partnership with Cyient focusing on the detailed design for manufacturing (DFM) of the rear fuselage section for the 40-seater D328eco regional turboprop aircraft.

Deutsche Aircraft, a German original equipment manufacturer (OEM) located in Weßling, close to Munich, has announced a strategic partnership with Cyient, a global leader in intelligent engineering and technology solutions. The collaboration between the two companies will focus on the detailed design for manufacturing (DFM) of the rear fuselage section for the 40-seater D328eco regional turboprop aircraft.

The D328eco is designed to operate along regional routes and is highly fuel-efficient. It represents an upgraded version of the Dornier 328 series, with increased passenger capacity and specific structural updates to meet the demands of modern regional air travel. Deutsche Aircraft envisions the D328eco as a transformative project that will revolutionize regional air travel, offering advanced features, unmatched versatility, and operational flexibility even in challenging environments.

Cyient, with its extensive experience in aerospace avionics systems, collaborates with manufacturers to develop advanced solutions for commercial, defense, and vertical lift applications. The company offers a range of services, including system engineering, product design and development, prototyping, testing and qualification, and independent verification and validation. Cyient ensures that its engineering solutions meet the most rigorous FAA and EASA standards, including RTCA DO-254, RTCA DO-178C, RTCA DO-160G, and MIL-STD-810F, and has experience in certifying products to all Design Assurance Levels (DAL) A to E.
