9 June 2020: As the Aviation industry gears up to restart after the COVID-19 pandemic, SITA has made a few imperative changes to its official administration group that’s mindful for SITA’s item portfolios. David Lavorel, already CEO of SITA FOR Airplane will be supplanting Matthys Serfontein, who will be resigning from SITA after over a decade’s benefit as head SITA AT Air TERMINALS AND BORDERS, SITA’s air terminal and border arrangement portfolio. David’s key center in 2020 will be to bolster SITA’s carrier and airplane terminal clients to actualize shrewd arrangements to oblige unused traveler forms required to guarantee the wellbeing and security of voyagers and employees. As International air travel resumes across the globe, Mr. Fabre’s job role will be of utmost importance at the airlines will turn to SITA to deliver new operational efficiencies such as faster turnarounds while extracting the full benefit of modern connected aircraft.

The new appointments came into effect from June 1, 2020.
