MRO Americas is a top-level conference & exhibition that fosters networking, relationship building and knowledge exchange.
The MRO Americas is the information and communication platform that focuses on critical industry issues and provides an extensive conference program with analysis, forecasts, future prospects, industry outlooks and new products and technologies.

The second day at MRO Americas started with equal enthusiasm and vigor as the first day. Here are a few announcements and updates from DAY 2 at MRO Americas 2022, in Dallas.

1. SkySelect, the eProcurement-as-a-Service platform provider, has entered into a partnership with AeroParts Now to integrate their respective platforms to enhance the aircraft parts purchasing process for suppliers. The new integration will bring greater efficiency and ease of use, leading to more sales volume for suppliers by automating the submission of catalogs and quotes.

2. Mesa Airlines signed a 5-year contract with Boeing Distribution formerly known as Avial to procure ExxonMobil aviation lubricants across its entire fleet. Mesa Airlines, which will use Mobil Jet Oil II and Mobil HyJet IV-Aplus for its fleet of over 160 aircraft, cited the ability to stabilize price points and simplify its supply chain with a reliable supplier as a key reason for entering the contract.

3. Breeze Airways, headquartered in Utah, has chosen Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) to provide long-term material services support for its A220 fleet, including spare parts pooling, multiple on-site stocks, components repairs, and engineering.  Breeze Airways will benefit from Airbus’ A220

established supply chain and large stock availability to support its operations and secure fleet entry-into-service, as well as its component engineering expertise and in-service experience, which will maximize the airline’s aircraft availability and fleet efficiency.

4. Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), the world’s largest lessor of freighter aircraft and leading provider of air cargo transportation services based in Wilmington, Ohio, has selected Safran Landing Systems for the retrofit of more than thirty Boeing 767 freighters operated by its subsidiary airlines. This transition to Safran’s wheels and carbon brakes allows ATSG to operate with a common wheel and brake configuration across its operating fleet of freighter aircraft with carbon brakes.

5. GE Digital announced that Kalitta Air is the latest cargo airline to purchase the company’s Asset Records software to streamline and simplify aircraft records and asset documentation. Asset Records is designed to make it easier for operators to streamline records management.

6. Air Canada has renewed its contract with GE90 engine support services from AFI KLM E&M’s additional adaptive solutions. The historic cooperation between AFI KLM E&M and Air Canada marks new milestones with the renewal of a multi-year GE90 support contract between the two airlines. The original contract was signed in 2010, mobilizing a package of repair and maintenance services specially adapted to meet the Canadian airline’s requirements for the GE90-115Bengines on its fleet of Boeing 777s.
