Corendon Airlines expands LEAP-1B overhaul support with StandardAero

StandardAero partners with Corendon Airlines for LEAP-1B engine services
This new agreement builds upon StandardAero’s existing service relationship with Corendon for the CFM56-7B engines.

Corendon Airlines has selected StandardAero to provide MRO support for CFM LEAP-1B engines of its Boeing 737 MAX 8 fleet. This agreement is an extension of the previous agreement in which StandardAero provided MRO support for Corendon’s CFM56-7B engines.

StandardAero has already commenced work on Corendon’s first LEAP-1B engine, which is undergoing Continued Time Engine Maintenance (CTEM).

Proud to be selected by Corendon Airlines, Will Pitcher, senior vice president of sales, marketing and customers for StandardAero’s Airlines & Fleets division says that this agreement will significantly enhance StandardAero’s presence in Turkiye. “We appreciate Corendon’s trust in our San Antonio-based LEAP team and are committed to meeting their service expectations for many years to come,” Pitcher adds.

Marking aa major milestone in StandardAero’s LEAP engine maintenance capabilities, the company recently achieved LEAP-1B correlation approval for its first test call within the San Antonio test complex.

Carendon Airlines operates a fleet of B737MAX 8 aircraft powered by the latest LEAP 1B engines and a B737-800 fleet powered by CFM56-7B engines.
