CAE to enhance European footprint with new business aviation training centre in Vienna, Austria.
The purpose-built facility has ample room for expansion and is designed to deliver the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe.

The 8,000 square meters state-of-the-art CAE training center in Vienna will initially house six FFSs, including the Bombardier Global 7500 and a Global 6000 Vision.

CAE, a global leader in aviation training, has announced its expansion into Central Europe with a new business aviation training center in Vienna, Austria. The center, set to commence operations in the second half of 2024, aims to provide comprehensive training programs for business aviation operators in the region. Additionally, CAE plans to deploy the first Bombardier Global 7500 full-flight simulator (FFS) in Europe, offering enhanced accessibility and convenience for pilots undergoing training on this popular aircraft model.

The state-of-the-art training center in Vienna will initially house six FFSs, including the Bombardier Global 7500 and a Global 6000 Vision. Additionally, CAE plans to introduce four more FFSs for business jets from leading manufacturers, which will be announced in due course. The purpose-built facility, spanning 8,000 square meters, has ample room for expansion and is designed to deliver the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe.

In addition to the Vienna training center, CAE is optimizing and expanding its business aviation network worldwide. In November 2022, the company launched business aviation training at its Singapore facility, featuring a newly installed Gulfstream G650 FFS. In April 2023, CAE inaugurated its first West Coast business aviation training center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Looking ahead, the company plans to continue expanding its network, with new training centers in Lake Nona, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia, set to begin operations in the second half of 2023.
