BOOST Systems has strengthened its presence in the European rotorcraft market after securing European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval for its H125/AS350 Cargo Basket, Boarding Steps and Starlink Mount. The certification enables helicopter operators across Europe to deploy the company’s fully certified mission equipment on Airbus H125/AS350 helicopters, enhancing operational capability across a wide range of missions.
The EASA-approved stainless-steel cargo basket range is available in multiple configurations, offering payload capacities of up to 500 pounds and cargo volumes of up to 22 cubic feet. Engineered for demanding operations, the baskets support diverse mission profiles, including utility operations, emergency response, aerial work and other specialised helicopter applications.
The approval reinforces BOOST Systems’ commitment to delivering certified, mission-focused solutions that enhance aircraft functionality and provide operators with greater operational flexibility.
“We are building several different stainless-steel Cargo Baskets with a variety of features based on the operator’s mission,” said Jeff Yarnold, Vice President of Operations at BOOST Systems. “Our goal is to give operators practical, certified solutions that improve the capabilities of their aircraft.”
A major highlight of the expanded portfolio is the newly certified Starlink Mount, designed to integrate Starlink satellite connectivity into H125/AS350 helicopters. The system equips operators with enhanced real-time communications, seamless data access and improved situational awareness, significantly boosting mission effectiveness, particularly in remote and challenging operating environments.
“Our most recent value-added product for the cargo baskets is our Starlink Mount,” Yarnold added. “This solution enhances what we can offer operators in the field. With this capability, crews can integrate approved Starlink connectivity into their aircraft, providing enhanced real-time communication, data access, and overall mission effectiveness.”
