Blueberry Aviation has completed the recovery of Garuda Indonesia’s ATR72-600 fleet, marking the return of the tenth and final aircraft as part of an asset recovery programme conducted on behalf of the French and Italian Export Credit Agencies (ECAs).
The project involved the repossession and relocation of all ten ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft, with Blueberry Aviation overseeing their ferry flights from Indonesia to France for storage and future remarketing.
The completion of the programme represents another milestone in the company’s growing portfolio of complex aircraft asset recovery and remarketing assignments.

The Garuda Indonesia project follows Blueberry Aviation’s 2022 recovery of 11 ATR72-600 aircraft after Avianca entered Chapter 11 restructuring. In both programmes, the company managed the full scope of the recovery process, including aircraft and technical records inspections, fleet valuation, repossession, ferry flight coordination, storage, insurance management, remarketing and final redelivery to new owners.
According to the company, the successful completion of the Garuda assignment further reinforces its expertise in managing distressed aviation assets, particularly aircraft impacted by airline restructurings, insolvency proceedings and extended groundings.
Together, the Garuda Indonesia and Avianca ATR72-600 recovery programmes demonstrate Blueberry Aviation’s capabilities in delivering end-to-end asset recovery, aircraft remarketing and fleet transition services for export credit agencies, lessors and aircraft financiers.
