BLR Aerospace, a company of Ducommun Incorporated, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Italy-based Boggi Aeronautics S.r.l. to distribute the Airbus AS350/H125 Dual Cargo Mirror System across the Americas. The agreement marks the beginning of a broader collaboration between the two companies aimed at enhancing helicopter mission capabilities and expanding access to advanced aeronautical solutions.
Under the agreement, BLR Aerospace will serve as the exclusive distributor of Boggi Aeronautics’ Dual Cargo Mirror System, providing operators in North, Central, and South America with improved access to the certified technology through its established dealer network and direct sales channels.
The Dual Cargo Mirror System has been developed to improve pilot visibility during external load operations, enabling safer and more precise cargo handling. The system provides pilots with a clear view of both the external load and the long line, helping improve accuracy during load pickup, positioning, and release.
Designed for the Airbus AS350/H125 helicopter family, the system incorporates a stainless-steel mounting frame that attaches to existing aircraft fastener locations, eliminating the need for structural modifications while reducing installation time.
The primary mirror offers an adjustable field of view, allowing pilots to customise visibility according to mission requirements, while a secondary mirror provides a dedicated view of the external cargo hook, improving situational awareness during precision lifting operations.
Stefano Boggi, Founder of Boggi Aeronautics, described the agreement as an important milestone in the company’s international growth strategy. He said BLR Aerospace’s strong presence and extensive knowledge of the aviation market in the Americas make it the ideal partner to introduce Boggi’s certified products to a wider customer base.
Boggi added that the Dual Cargo Mirror System is only the first step in a broader collaboration, with both companies planning to explore additional opportunities to introduce more Boggi technologies and mission equipment in the region.
BLR Aerospace President Clay Bringhurst said the addition of the Dual Cargo Mirror System complements the company’s existing product portfolio and provides operators with another high-quality solution designed to improve operational efficiency.
He noted that when combined with BLR’s FastFin System for the Airbus AS350/H125, which increases operational load capability, the mirror system can further enhance flight safety, pilot confidence and mission effectiveness during external load operations.
The integrated solution is expected to benefit operators involved in utility work, firefighting, aerial construction, search and rescue, and other specialised helicopter missions requiring precise cargo handling.
To support customers across the Americas, BLR Aerospace will maintain inventory of the Dual Cargo Mirror System at its Everett, Washington facility. The company said local stock availability will help ensure faster deliveries and minimise lead times for operators requiring the equipment.
The system will be available through BLR’s authorised dealer network as well as through direct customer sales. The partnership reflects the growing demand for specialised aftermarket solutions that improve aircraft capability without requiring major airframe modifications.
As helicopter operators increasingly seek mission-specific upgrades to improve safety, productivity and operational flexibility, collaborations between equipment manufacturers and established distribution partners are becoming an important part of the aerospace aftermarket ecosystem.
The agreement also highlights the continued focus on certified retrofit solutions that enable operators to maximise aircraft performance while reducing installation complexity and downtime.
