Blackhawk Aerospace expands to form Blackhawk Aerospace Technologies by acquiring Columbia avionics

Blackhawk Aerospace expands their portfolio by acquiring assets from Columbia Avionics & Aircraft Services.
The avionics STC development capabilities will not only provide our dealers with more offerings for their customers, but it will also help Blackhawk to certify engine-to-avionics integrations more quickly and efficiently.

Columbia avionics develops new STCs using avionics packages for Citations and other business jets.

24 June 2021: Blackhawk Aerospace has expanded their portfolio of products and services by acquiring assets from Columbia Avionics & Aircraft Services. Blackhawk plans to expand on Columbia’s success and add a new focus on creating STCs for the turboprop market, which their global network of certified dealers can provide to aircraft owners and operators. Additional capabilities include maintenance, airframe modifications, and avionics installations.

Columbia avionics develops new STCs using avionics packages for Citations and other business jets. The new venture will be called Blackhawk Aerospace Technologies (BAT).
