Bird Aviation adds new hangar to Larnaca airport eyeing demand

Bird Aviation to launch hangar at Larnaca Airport to increase maintenance capacity.
The construction project, located adjacent to the existing hangar on Bird Aviation’s premises, is progressing as planned and is scheduled for completion within the upcoming months.

Bird Aviation is expanding its operational capabilities by adding a new narrobody hangar at Larnaca Airport. The new hangar will enhance the company’s capacity to accommodate a higher volume of maintenance operations, leveraging Cyprus’s strategic location as a key hub connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa. 

Frederic Pralus, chief executive, Bird Aviation, stated: “This expansion represents a crucial development in our growth strategy. The addition of the new hangar will significantly augment our maintenance capacity and enable us to more effectively meet the evolving requirements of the aviation industry.”
