Belavia – Belarusian Airlines takes off with AMOS

Belavia – Belarusian Airlines (Belavia) started its official tender process to evaluate possible MRO software systems for managing its operator requirements almost two years ago. After a conscientious analysis of different software products, the advanced technology and sophisticated business functions of AMOS succeeded in convincing Belavia of the system’s superior qualities. “The Russian market is a well-known market for Swiss-AS where AMOS has been sold numerous times and successfully implemented over the past few years. We are very enthusiastic to welcome Belavia in the large and continuously growing AMOS community.” reported Ronald S haeuffele, CEO of Swiss-AS.

The aim is to implement the fully-integrated AMOS solution “as is” with only some minor customisations. Belavia will trust in the experience Swiss-AS has gained from over 130 successful implementations and Belavia will djust their business processes to what has proven to be “best industry practice”. The implementation project will start in September 2016 with a series of workshops and training sessions. The strong commitment of the project team and key users will be required to keep the Go-Live target date for July 2017. Thereafter, Belavia will fully manage a fleet of 4 CRJ, 4 Embraer and 16 Boeing 737 in AMOS.

Belavia is the Belarusian flag carrier headquartered in Minsk. The state-owned company has over 1000 employees and a fleet of 28 aircraft serving a network of 50 routes between European cities and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), as well as some Middle East destinations.
