BAE Systems, a global defense and security company, has launched FalconWorks, a new division within its Air Sector. FalconWorks is a center for advanced and agile research and development that aims to deliver cutting-edge combat air capabilities to the UK and its allies. The division will focus on generating ideas, fostering innovation, and facilitating collaboration with partners from academia, research organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and national governments to rapidly develop new products and services for air force customers.

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, governments worldwide recognize the need to strengthen and adapt their security and defense capabilities to address emerging threats. FalconWorks specialists will assess emerging trends and leverage digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum sensing, and robotics to deliver solutions with speed and efficiency. The division will also collaborate with partners in areas including autonomy, synthetic environments, and electrical powered air systems.
