Azerbaijan Airlines embraces eco-friendly SkyLeather® for enhanced passenger comfort and sustainability, marking a significant milestone in their partnership with AJW Technique Interiors.
AJW Technique Interiors, a division of AJW Group, is excited to announce a major achievement in its longstanding partnership with Azerbaijan Airlines. The airline has chosen to install SkyLeather®, an exceptional, eco-friendly, and lightweight material, on three A319 and six A320 aircraft. This milestone represents a significant advancement in passenger comfort and sustainability within the aviation industry.
Created in collaboration with manufacturing partner Autostop Aviation, SkyLeather® offers numerous advantages over traditional leather. This groundbreaking synthetic material not only provides enhanced durability and easy cleaning but also delivers substantial weight savings, reducing the overall aircraft weight. By adopting SkyLeather®, Azerbaijan Airlines will achieve a notable reduction in fuel consumption, making their operations more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
