The agreement entails Avolon leasing two Airbus A330-300 aircraft to US-Bangla Airlines, marking the carrier’s first venture into operating widebody aircraft.

Avolon, the renowned international aircraft leasing company, has forged a new partnership with US-Bangla Airlines, a prominent Bangladeshi carrier. The agreement entails Avolon leasing two Airbus A330-300 aircraft to US-Bangla Airlines, marking the carrier’s first venture into operating widebody aircraft. The addition of these A330s to US-Bangla’s fleet will support the airline’s growth plans, especially on medium-haul routes to key destinations in the Middle East, including Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The scheduled delivery of the aircraft is set for September 2023.

US-Bangla Airlines, which commenced operations in 2014, is currently the largest privately-owned airline in Bangladesh. The Airbus A330-300 is a highly capable and efficient widebody aircraft, well-suited for medium-haul routes, making it an excellent choice for US-Bangla’s expanding network.
