AvAir expands aftermarket capabilities with acquisition of Full Stop Technics

AvAir has acquired Full Stop Technics, strengthening its global aftermarket platform with FAA- and EASA-certified wheel and brake maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities.

The acquisition enhances AvAir’s ability to provide integrated aftermarket support by combining its extensive inventory portfolio with certified in-house wheel and brake repair services. Full Stop Technics brings nearly four decades of expertise in wheel and brake MRO, enabling AvAir to offer faster turnaround times and streamlined support for airlines, OEMs and MRO providers.

“This acquisition strengthens AvAir’s aftermarket platform by adding certified wheel and brake MRO capabilities,” said Mike Bianco, Chief Executive Officer of AvAir. “Full Stop Technics brings the technical expertise and customer-first approach that make it the right fit as we continue to expand support for our customers.”

The move follows AvAir’s recent acquisition of more than 1,600 wheels and brakes from Lufthansa Technik, further reinforcing its component support capabilities. “This partnership is a great fit for our customers and our long-term strategy,” said Brandon Wesson, President of AvAir. “Bringing this capability in-house allows us to pair AvAir’s extensive inventory position with certified wheel and brake repair support, creating a faster, more integrated solution and a significant benefit for our customers.”

Bill Morales, President of Full Stop Technics, said the partnership would enhance service capabilities while maintaining the company’s long-standing commitment to quality and responsiveness.

The acquisition is part of AvAir’s broader growth strategy, which also includes the recent opening of its third distribution facility in Dallas, Texas, adjacent to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, expanding its North American logistics network.
