ATR has announced that the company’s Singapore Training Centre’s ATR-600 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) has been awarded certification by the Japanese Civil Aviation Authority (JCAB). This new certification is a significant achievement for ATR, as it allows the company to better serve the Japanese customers by offering them additional training capabilities for their ATR pilots.

The certification process for the ATR-600 FFS in Singapore took approximately 10 months, during which ATR administrative and technical data were thoroughly assessed by the JCAB. Additionally, ATR conducted 30 hours of simulator sessions, showcasing the FFS’s capabilities through various tests. This certification enables ATR to provide training solutions closer to ATR Japanese customers’ operations, helping them enhance their pilot training programs.
