Today marks the third and final day of MRO Americas. With exhibitors, delegates, conferences, partnerships, face-to-face meetings, and a lot more, MRO Americas truly lived much beyond expectation. Here’s a wrap of some of the important announcements made during the day.
1. Extending the three-decade-old partnership, Wencor and Turkish Technic, announced the signing of a multi-year parts agreement, wherein Wencor will provide consumable and expendable(C&E) parts to support Turkish Technic’s maintenance operations. Wencor will support the agreement through its worldwide stocking facilities with local oversight from its Istanbul office
2. HYDRO Systems concluded a license agreement with Didsbury Engineering Co Ltd. for the servicing of Didsbury’s hoists. The agreement includes annual recertification, repair, maintenance, and full services
3. Topcast Group and Darchem Engineering, a company of TransDigm Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the second day of Aviation Week Network’s MRO Americas 2022.

4. AFI KLM E&M and Caribbean Airlines have announced the conclusion of a component support contract for the Trinidad and Tobago-based airline’s 737 MAX fleet, which currently numbers 9 aircraft. The solutions provided by AFI KLM E&M will cover repairs, access to a pool of spare parts, and a Main Base Kit (MBK) at the customer’s base in Port of Spain, as well as dedicated logistical support.
5. Satair, a world leader in the commercial aerospace aftermarket, and JetSMART have signed a Letter of Intent for a multi-year agreement for Satair’s Integrated Material Services program (IMS), a comprehensive expendables material solution that will support JetSMART Chile and its growth in South America covering the completeA320/A321 CEO and Neo fleet

6. AJW Technique and TDA – Touchdown Aviation have finalized a component agreement in which TDA will hold inventory of high-demand components at AJW Technique’s state-of-the-art MRO facility in Canada. The components will be repaired and certified by AJW Technique and ready to ship on demand to TDA’s customers.
