Alpha A900 Helicopters enhance border surveillance and maritime operations for Bulgarian Border Police.

Alpha Unmanned Systems, specializing in small tactical helicopter UAVs, has supplied Alpha A900 helicopters. Consequently, these helicopters are now used by the Bulgarian Border Police. Under the agreement, the Border Police Directorate’s 200-ton ship “Balchik” has been fully equipped with these next-generation UAVs. The deployment of Alpha A900 helicopters aims to enhance the Bulgarian Border Police’s capabilities in border surveillance, tracking suspicious objects, and conducting maritime space surveys. These enhancements are crucial for preventing illegal activities and supporting rescue operations.

Engineers designed the A900s to function effectively in high sea states. Additionally, they are weatherproof, operating in wind and rain conditions. Moreover, these helicopters have the capability to take off and land directly from vessels, thereby supporting maritime operations and surveillance efforts effectively.

Alpha A900s are conspicuously visible for warning during low-altitude flights. Conversely, they maintain a low profile and remain concealed at higher altitudes.
