In his new role as President of AJW Group, Louis Philippe Mallette will oversee all aspects of AJW Technique’s operations and his responsibilities will also include optimizing operational efficiencies and leading strategic growth initiatives.


AJW Group, a leading provider of aircraft component parts, repair, and supply chain solutions globally, has announced the promotion of Louis Philippe Mallette to President of AJW Technique, the group’s premier Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility located in Montreal, Canada. Louis Philippe Mallette brings over 25 years of significant international operational and strategic experience in the aviation industry to his new role. He has previously enriched his career profile by serving as MRO Workgroup President of Aéro Montréal, a key player in supporting Quebec’s aerospace cluster aimed at enhancing cohesion, optimizing competitiveness, and fostering sustainable regional growth.

Before his tenure at AJW Technique, Mallette spent 23 years at Bombardier, where he ascended to the position of General Manager. He joined AJW Technique as Senior Vice President in September 2021, where he has since effectively guided the facility through its post-pandemic resurgence. His leadership skills and dedication to excellence have been evident throughout his career.

In his new role as President, Mallette will oversee all aspects of AJW Technique’s operations. His responsibilities will include optimizing operational efficiencies and leading strategic growth initiatives. He aims to nurture a culture of innovation and excellence within the facility. Mallette will continue to report to, and work closely with, Clyde Buntrock, the CEO of AJW Aviation and AJW Technique.
