AJW Group, a globally renowned independent aircraft component parts, repair, and supply chain solutions provider, is expanding its executive leadership team with two significant appointments. Barry Swift will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Clare Brown will assume the position of Senior Vice President (SVP) Finance. AJW Group is a world-leading independent aircraft component parts, repair, and supply chain solutions provider known for its transformational impact on efficiency in commercial, business, and defense aviation. The company has a global presence with operational hubs and local offices across various regions. A key asset of AJW Group is AJW Technique, a state-of-the-art Component MRO facility spanning 220,000 square feet located in Montreal, Canada.

Barry Swift, the new COO, brings with him extensive experience in various sectors, including Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Capital Equipment, Automotive, Defence, and Aviation. He has a strong track record, having previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations at AJW Group. Barry is known for his expertise in Operations & Supply Chain Management and his ability to implement groundbreaking Supply Chain Transformation Programs. In his new role, Barry Swift will provide direct support to the Board and the UK Delivery team. Barry’s primary focus will be on integrating the Delivery function within AJW and fostering close collaboration with the Operational team at AJW Technique, the company’s world-class Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility located in Montreal. This collaboration aims to optimize in-house capabilities.

Clare Brown, the new SVP Finance, is a seasoned finance professional with a wealth of experience. She spent seven years at AJW Group as Finance Director and has 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, including a 12-year tenure as Finance Director at Thomas Cook. Clare will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s assets, ensuring financial stability, and driving growth. Her expertise will further strengthen AJW Group’s commitment to excellence in financial management and strategic planning.
