Deutsche Aircraft welcomed a new supplier at the AIRCRAFT Supplier Summit.
The Final Assembly Line will get support from Advanced Integration Technology/Nova-Tech Engineering (AIT/NTE) for the handling and positioning of fuselage sections as well as aircraft transport and positioning.
Through this new agreement, AIT/Nova-Tech Engineering will provide support to the Leipzig/Halle airport Final Assembly Line, which is responsible for building the 40-seater D328eco regional turboprop. One of the biggest suppliers of aircraft automation, mechanisation, and tooling is AIT/Nova-Tech. In order to create well-integrated automated production processes, Deutsche Aircraft must work with the industry leader as it constructs the factory of the future with cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities.
Maximilian Fahr, Vice President of Supply Chain at Deutsche Aircraft, remarks, “We are constructing the factory of the future, and our suppliers are critical to our success. Deutsche Aircraft is pleased to formalise a deal with AIT/Nova-Tech in Leipzig to set important groundwork for our Final Assembly Line, which will incorporate integrated solutions into our production processes.”
AIT/NTE, the most experienced designer, producer, and integrator of automated conveying, positioning, and joining systems in the aerostructures sector, is partnering with Deutsche Aircraft to industrialise the D328eco. They are experts in aerospace tooling. AIT/NTE is supplying versatile and dependable equipment and tooling for Deutsche Aircraft’s Leipzig production site by using its engineering core expertise and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities.
