Airbus has announced that Air Corporate, a prominent Italian business aviation operator, has made a significant firm order for 43 helicopters from Airbus. The order comprises 40 single-engine helicopters, including the H125 and H130 models, and three ACH160s from Airbus Corporate Helicopters, with the Line configuration and Lounge package. This order supplements the two ACH160s that Air Corporate already has on order.
This contract stands as the largest commercial helicopter order that Airbus has secured in Italy to date. The helicopters will be delivered over the coming years to support a range of private and business passenger services, as well as utility operations. They further emphasized the importance of the H125 and H130 models, with the H125 being the go-to helicopter for aerial work missions in Italy due to its exceptional performance. The H130, on the other hand, has been highly successful in the country for tourist flights and passenger transport.
The Air Corporate board said, “We are experiencing a growing demand for the innovative ACH160 in the Italian market. The ACH160 is a beautiful, safe, and comfortable helicopter, and the Line configuration with Lounge package guarantees elegance and excellent performance. Equally the H125 remains the helicopter of reference for aerial work missions in Italy due to its unrivalled performance. The H130 is also enjoying great success in our country for tourist flights and passenger transport”.
This latest announcement adds to the 28 additional orders that Air Corporate has placed with Airbus in recent years, as part of their ongoing fleet expansion. Over the past two years alone, Air Corporate has already taken delivery of 17 Airbus helicopters, including the initial H135 twin-engine model.

With 50 years of Airbus helicopters flying in Italy, the company has become a key player in the Italian helicopter market. They currently serve 90 customers and have a fleet of over 240 helicopters in operation throughout the country.
