Airbus is scheduled to deliver the remaining 15 Airbus A321neo jets to HK Express within the next two years.
Airbus has announced the successful delivery of its first Airbus A321neo to HK Express, a Cathay Pacific Group member located in Hong Kong. This is the first of 16 A321neo aircraft for HK Express, and it sports the airline’s new livery in bright purple and white. Furthermore, the aircraft’s winglets and empennage feature an “e” shaped journey symbol, which represents the beginning of a pleasant voyage with HK Express.
“We are thrilled to welcome the first A321neo to our fleet,” said Mandy Ng, CEO of HK Express. “As an operator of the A320 Family, we are confident in the A321neo’s game-changing ability to provide more capacity with greater sustainability. At HK Express, the A321neo is key in our efforts to reduce our impact on the environment,” she further added.
The A321neo of HK Express is powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines and can accommodate up to 236 people in Airbus’ award-winning Airspace cabin, which features unique lighting displays, more personal space, and a sleek design to enhance the passenger experience.

With a fleet of 27 A320 Family airplanes, including 11 A321ceo, 10 A320neo, 5 A320ceo, and its first A321neo, HK Express is an all-Airbus carrier. The A321neo is a member of the A320neo Family, which features Sharklets and new-generation engines that together save more than 20% on gasoline and CO2 emissions while reducing noise by 50%. Over 130 customers from around the globe have placed over 8,600 firm orders for the A320neo Family so far.
