In his new role, Andrew Holmes will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of Air Partner’s Cargo division in the United States.

Air Partner, a leading global aviation services group specializing in aircraft charter, aviation safety, and security solutions, has announced the appointment of Andrew Holmes as Vice President of Cargo, US. In his new role, Holmes will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of Air Partner’s Cargo division in the United States.

Andrew Holmes brings a wealth of experience in cargo aviation, spanning both scheduled and charter services. He initially joined Air Partner as an Account Manager for the US Cargo division in early 2021. Holmes has achieved significant milestones during his tenure, including the management of a comprehensive 18-month program involving multi-leg cargo flights for the collection of PCR tests. These tests were then delivered to a San Diego-based laboratory on weekends during the height of the pandemic.

Additionally, Holmes played a pivotal role in coordinating multiple flights for the transportation of COVID vaccines to various parts of the world. Notably, he also orchestrated weekly flights over a seven-month period to South America, delivering vital spare parts to keep a manufacturing plant operational.

Holmes’ extensive aviation career encompasses a wide range of roles and experiences. He embarked on his journey in ad-hoc aviation in 2000, stationed in Ostend, Belgium, where he served as a flight manager and operations assistant. Holmes fondly reminisces about his adventurous experiences flying across the globe on a Soviet-built aircraft, visiting an impressive 45 different countries within a single year. Now, with over 23 years of aviation expertise, Holmes is committed to developing and expanding Air Partner’s presence in the United States. His vision aligns with the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, and trust.
