AFI KLM E&M has enhanced AAM  training abilities with Part 147 approval and three training centers in Paris, Amsterdam, and Norwich with plans for dedicated technical training on latest aircraft models.

AFI KLM E&M is rapidly expanding its training programs to cater to the future Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) fleet. The primary goal is to ensure readiness for training maintenance personnel for the upcoming generation of aircraft, which includes electric, hydrogen, and hybrid models, as soon as the relevant regulatory frameworks are established. The focus is on positioning the organization as a leader in maintenance training and support for these emerging technologies as they become integral to the aviation industry.

AFI KLM E&M has begun its expansive technical training capabilities depending on Part 147 organization and its three training centers located in Paris (France), Amsterdam (Netherlands), and Norwich (UK). AFI KLM E&M plans to announce dedicated technical training for mechanics for the new aircraft models. The motive is to be prepared to provide training to customers as EASA in particular to have adopted and publish appropriate regulatory frameworks.

AFI KLM E&M’s SVP Commercial, Pierre Teboul said, “As a multi-product MRO provider with extensive capabilities and a long experience in technical training and the entry into service of new fleets, it is our role to prepare for this deadline, to mobilize our ecosystem and upgrade the skills of our experts so that we are ready on D-Day, when we have to meet the needs of the market with practical, adapted and high-performance operational solutions. This means preparing for it today, upgrading the skills of our instructors and designing new training materials.
