AerFin signs multi-platform component agreement with Lufthansa Technik

AerFin has signed a multi-platform component consignment agreement with Lufthansa Technik to support component availability across several commercial aircraft platforms.

Under the agreement, Lufthansa Technik will have access to serviceable components for the Airbus A320ceo, A320neo and A330 families, along with the Boeing 737NG, 737 MAX and 777.

The arrangement adds another source of serviceable material to Lufthansa Technik’s component support network and is intended to provide greater flexibility in sourcing parts for aircraft undergoing maintenance.

Berit Plewinsky, Vice President Aircraft Component Services at Lufthansa Technik, said, “We believe innovation thrives through collaboration. That’s why we’re seeking trusted partners to develop creative solutions that improve availability and create seamless flight operations for our customers.”

For AerFin, the agreement expands its role in supplying components across multiple high-volume narrowbody and widebody platforms. The consignment model also allows components to be positioned within the supply chain while supporting the continued use and value of existing aircraft assets.

James Bennett, Chief Commercial Officer at AerFin, said, “This agreement reflects the strength of our relationship with Lufthansa Technik and our shared focus on delivering practical, high-quality solutions to the market.” He added, “By expanding access across multiple key platforms to our customers, we’re better placed to support with the material they need, when they need it – while continuing to drive value from assets in a disciplined and efficient way.”

The agreement covers platforms with large global fleets, including the A320 and 737 families, as well as the A330 and 777, where demand for replacement and rotable components remains an important part of aftermarket support.
