AerFin, a leading aircraft end-of-life management company, has announced the appointment of Paul Ashcroft to the newly created role of Senior Vice President (SVP) – Asia Pacific. With over 30 years of industry experience, Paul brings a wealth of expertise in technical and commercial functions. In his new role at AerFin, Paul Ashcroft will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence across the Asia Pacific region. His duties include fostering a high-performance culture, developing and executing revenue objectives, and contributing to the vision for AerFin’s growth and long-term partnership opportunities with existing and future customers.
Paul Ashcroft’s career began at GE Wales, where he played a key role in powerplant technical support for CFM International CFM56 engines with Asia Pacific customers. His extensive experience includes leadership positions at Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong, where he contributed to the Aircraft trading team and managed engineering aspects during lease transitions. As Chief of Service Engineer at Rolls Royce Civil Aerospace, he led a large team, focusing on operational reliability, customer technical support, and life cycle cost optimization for RB211 and Trent fleets worldwide. Paul also played a crucial role in expanding operations into Singapore. In his most recent role as Head of Engineering Services in Rolls Royce Defence, he led international teams to ensure in-service needs were met.
