ACC Aviation completes aircraft asset monitoring assignment for international aviation financier

ACC Aviation has completed a major independent aircraft asset monitoring assignment on behalf of a leading international aviation finance institution, reinforcing its position as a provider of technical advisory and asset management services for the global aviation finance sector.

The engagement involved the ongoing technical oversight of a portfolio of next-generation commercial aircraft financed by the institution. ACC Aviation carried out independent assessments of aircraft condition, maintenance activity, operational status and emerging technical risks throughout the monitoring period.

The assignment included physical aircraft inspections, technical records reviews, maintenance oversight, operator engagement and the delivery of regular asset monitoring reports to support the financier’s credit and risk management decisions.

Unlike traditional pre-purchase inspections, the project focused on preserving the long-term value of financed aircraft throughout the asset lifecycle. By combining technical expertise with commercial asset management, ACC Aviation provided independent oversight of maintenance events, operational developments and aircraft condition, enabling the financier to monitor risks proactively while safeguarding collateral value.

The company said growing demand for independent technical monitoring reflects the evolving priorities of lenders, lessors and institutional investors, who are increasingly seeking greater visibility into asset performance and collateral quality. ACC Aviation’s asset management services support customers across the full aircraft lifecycle, including acquisition due diligence, technical inspections, ongoing portfolio monitoring, lease transitions, remarketing and asset disposal.

Tristan Brouard, Associate Director at ACC Aviation, said independent technical oversight has become an increasingly important component of aviation finance.

“Our role is to provide clients with objective, commercially focused advice that enables them to understand the technical condition of their assets, identify emerging risks early and protect long-term collateral value,” Brouard said. “This assignment reflects the confidence that aviation financiers continue to place in ACC Aviation’s technical and asset management capabilities.”

The successful completion of the project further strengthens ACC Aviation’s role as an independent aviation consultancy supporting banks, export credit agencies, leasing companies, private credit funds and institutional investors with technical advisory, asset management and aviation finance services across commercial aircraft and engine portfolios.
