CAS to use PPP funds for employee training

In these critical times, we thought it best to come up with a solution rather than down-size our staff.
By choosing to invest in the knowledge and skills of our aircraft technicians, we increase the safety and quality of our services to our customers

29 July 2020: In the current COVID-19 pandemic times, when the world is already reeling under pressure, Certified Aviation Services (CAS) has come up with a brilliant solution rather than downsizing the staff. CAS has announced to invest in their mechanics by providing aircraft specific courses to advance capabilities, improve safety and quality standards for current and future customers.

Cesar Moya, Director of Quality & Training said, “In these critical times, we thought it best to come up with a solution rather than down-size our staff. I am pleased, we chose the alternative. In the end by choosing to invest in the knowledge and skills of our aircraft technicians, we increase the safety and quality of our services to our customers.”

CAS had received funds from Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) in April 2020. These funds were used to train the technicians on nine different fleet types and granted over 30 certificates at various stations.
