United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), part of Rostec, has delivered a new batch of Su-35S multirole fighter aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The aircraft completed factory testing before delivery, including checks across different operating modes conducted by Russian Ministry of Defense pilots. Following the testing programme, the aircraft were flown from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to their assigned operational base.
The Su-35S is a fourth-generation-plus multirole fighter designed for air superiority and strike missions. Its operational roles include intercepting air targets, providing cover for strike aircraft and ground forces, engaging unmanned aerial vehicles, and conducting precision strikes against ground and surface targets.
The aircraft can also be used for reconnaissance and detecting positions at extended ranges.
The delivery adds to the Russian Aerospace Forces’ existing Su-35S fleet and supports continued operation across multiple mission profiles.

The Su-35S is designed to operate from its home airfield while conducting missions at significant distances. Maintaining the fleet will require continued support for its airframe, propulsion, avionics, and mission systems throughout its service life.
UAC did not provide details on the number of aircraft delivered or any associated maintenance or sustainment arrangements with the latest batch.
