Satair inaugurated a 56,500 square meter logistics and service centre in Hamburg, one of the largest warehouse within the Airbus Group. The new warehouse is strategically located in Wilhelmsburg area, serving as Satair’s second location in Hamburg and complementing the existing Service & Logistics Centre in Fuhlsbüttel.
The new centre will specialise in the management of tools and large parts, specifically for Long Term Storage and Kits while the Fuhlsbüttel facility focus on small and medium-sized parts. Together, these centers provide an integrated warehouse solution, enhancing the logistics network across both sites.
Thomas Moik, chief operations officer, Satair, highlighted the strategic importance of the new facility: “Positioned in Wilhelmsburg, our latest operations enhance our capabilities in Hamburg, driving improved customer satisfaction and supporting our growth objectives. This expansion significantly boosts our service capabilities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while reinforcing our global service reach.”

Looking to the future, Satair plans to further augment the Wilhelmsburg facility’s capabilities by introducing in-house carpentry for customized shipping solutions and tool repair services. These developments will solidify Satair’s commitment to delivering comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for customers around the globe.
