C&L Aviation Services as appointed Felipe Garcia at the helm for C&L’s new landing gear and wheel and brake capabilities as Component Shop Manager. In this role, Garcia will lead a team of skilled professionals and further develop aftermarket support, sales, and operations in the commercial industry.
“Felipe is well known in the industry, and his knowledge and expertise make him a great asset to developing C&L’s landing gear, wheel, and brake overhaul capabilities,” said Chris Kilgour, chief executive, C&L Aviation Group.
Garcia has over 30 years of aviation industry experience and over 25 years of landing gear maintenance expertise. He has successfully managed operations across multiple companies and has owned and operated repair shops, contributing to the strategic acquisition efforts of larger organizations.
In another appointment, C&L Aerospace has appointed Robert (Bob) Pierson as the Regional Sales Manager as a part of Corporate Parts Sales Team. Pierson will provide business jet support for the southeastern United States with a focus on Challenger 604, Hawker Series, BeechJet, and Cessna Citation Sovereign and XLS aircraft.
“Bob has extensive knowledge in the corporate jet sector,” saidMartin Cooper, senior vice-president of sales at C&L Aerospace. “His previous experiences in parts sales and aftermarket parts support will assist in our company’s continued expansion strategy in the corporate parts market.”

Pierson has had a lifelong passion for aviation and nearly a decade of aviation experience. He holds a private aircraft pilot’s license and has previously held positions in parts, aftermarket, and AOG support at Textron and most recently at Avgroup.
Pierson will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.
