AerFin enhances MRO capabilities and expands capacity
AerFin will expand its Engine MRO Lite capacity to handle 200 annual quick-turn shop visits and increase its UK storage capacity by one-third.

AerFin expands MRO Lite capabilities for CFM56 engines and increases capacity with new headquarters and storage facilities in Newport.

AerFin is pleased to announce an enhancement to its Part 145 EASA, CAA, and FAA certification for Engine MRO Lite maintenance capabilities. Additionally, AerFin has expanded its coverage to include fan, booster, and top-case activities. These enhancements further complement AerFin’s existing range of Engine MRO Lite services, which include engine disassembly and quick-turn maintenance services.

Simon Bayliss, Chief Operating Officer at AerFin, said, “This capability enhancement represents a significant milestone in the development of our MRO services to support the capacity challenges that many of our major customers are currently facing. This significant development enables us to deliver a more sophisticated range of services to our customers when they need it”.

As previously announced, AerFin will increase its Engine MRO Lite capacity later this year to accommodate up to 200 quick-turn shop visits annually. Additionally, AerFin will expand its UK storage capacity by one-third. This expansion will coincide with its relocation to new headquarters at St. Modwen’s Park, Newport.
